2011 Smiles Charity Concert Raises over $100,000

McKinney, TX - 5/31/2012 - (Smiles Charity 501(c)3) – Blue skies and a mild breeze served as the perfect setting for Smiles Charity’s fifth annual Memorial Day Weekend concert. The headlining act was Grammy nominee David Nail who put on an exciting show. “What a great cause, thank you for coming out tonight McKinney!” exclaimed Mr. Nail as he looked out across a crowd of nearly 10,000 that gathered to see his performance and make their donation towards homes for wounded soldiers.

Net proceeds from the concert event including cash and credit donations from the crowd totaled just over $100,000 which will go directly towards the building of two homes for disabled veterans later this year.
